We travelled from Moreno in BA to Lujan Zoo – approx 68 (58) km from the city centre of Buenos Aires. We also got the TTQV (Touratech to work in the car with the GPS unit (Garmin 176c) however the route we planned the night before, didn’t work out so great. The tracking was perfect.
We took out the motorbike to use it for the first time in south america. After all our travelling from Europe, we determined that the battery was flat. We hooked it up to the charger, eventually at 19:50hrs we attempted to start it, (it had been on charge from about 12:00hrs) and Jan had a spin in the dark, and so did I. I covered it with a sheet and put 3 locks on it. We did not bother to put it back into the garage for the night. It was padlocked to the camper steps. Sent email out to everyone about the new ‘blog’ address.
We went into Lujan on the Sunday, we saw a lot of stall’s in the square, we walked about and I took a lot of photos inside and outside the Basilica …. We walked about. Then we had a ‘Merete’ (a roll full of ‘grenedrine’ meatloaf and a Water (gased) then we used the bike to return back to Lujan Zoo.
