Hello Again!
We are now in Rosario Do Sul, in Brazil. We crossed over the border yesterday. We are on the road now over a week, for some of last week and up to Monday of this week, we were still getting small jobs on the truck completed along the route … details I will fill in later. All is well with both the car and the two of us. No major problems at all, which is great. We are taking the trip a lot slower this time around and relaxing as much as possible. We did not have much internet contact when we travelled north in Uruguay, and today is the first internet contact in Brazil. We are slowly aiming to a place called ‘Sao Miguel do Misseos’ (Brazilian Portuguese) so I hope I spelt it correctly. We have just taken on board our first diesel in Brazil, it is supposed to be the cheapest diesel in all of South America … Jan paid so later when I look at the figures, I will let you all know if this is ‘fact’ or ‘fiction’.
The crossing into Brazil was an ‘event’ in itself, I’ll update that later especially for those who would be unaware of the system .. it was certainly different. Jan is now waiting for me to wrap up … so for now … we are gone, till the next internet contact … Greetings to you all!
