Well, we are well and truly back in Buenos Aires. We arrived late on Friday evening at about 20:30 hrs at the airport and finally back at the camper at about 23:50 hrs.
The camper stood the test of our absence, we are delighted to report. On Saturday, we slept late as it was a very long day on Friday. The only thing we did of note was go around to the local shops and get some basic food stuffs for ourselves.
Yesterday, Sunday we did more or less nothing. We took stock of what is in the camper and what needs to be done before we leave this lovely rest place.
Today, we filled up with water and Jan has gone now to see if we can get some gas for cooking etc. The gas flask ran out the week before we returned to Europe but we have discovered that the tanks between here and Europe are different in several respects and it is not an easy matter to resolve this issue. We attempted to tackle the problem before we left, with no success. We will hear later if he has had any positive outcome.
Later today, we hope to return to the local shop and stock up with more food.
